The purpose of the courseis to familiarize students with the basic concepts and methods of mathematical analysis necessary for an in-depth study of both the course itself and for the education of a general mathematical culture, as well as areas of application of analysis. It also develops students’ mathematical thinking skills necessary for solving practical problems, using literature and independently conducting research work in the future.
Course summary: Introduction to mathematical analysis. Derivative of a function of one variable. Differential. Mean value theorem. Study of functions of one variable using differential calculus. A complete study of a function of one variable and the construction of its graphs.
